Direct Cremation / Unattended Cremation
A direct cremation is very different to a funeral, as there is no service for mourners to attend. We offer a local alternative with a more personal service to national Direct Cremation providers which you might have seen advertised. Families also have greater flexibility, including the option to say farewell to their loved one in our Chapel of Rest.

- Being able to access advice from our well experienced and trained staff regarding registration and funeral arrangements
- Having access to our local knowledge regarding internments, scatterings, creation of new headstones or further inscriptions on existing memorials after the cremation has taken place
- We offer great attention to detail and care that comes from an independent family funeral director well established in your local community
- Once registration is complete, we can arrange a direct cremation within a few days whereas national companies may take an extended period of time, which can be difficult for the bereaved
